Women’s cancer risk may increase the longer they’re obese A new North American study has found that for every 10 years of being overweight a women has a 7% higher chance of being diagnosed with cancer. In particular, the risk was increased for colon, endometrial and kidney cancer. The study involved more than 70,000 women over a period of 12 years.
