ProCare

ProCare: Phase II trial of primary care-based follow up for prostate cancer

ProCare is a multi-site, phase II randomised controlled trial of a complex intervention. Its aim is to examine the feasibility, acceptability, psychosocial and resource outcomes of a potentially new model of shared care for follow-up of men with prostate cancer. ProCare also looks at establishing acceptability of the intervention and randomisation, confirm the suitability of outcome measures and inform final design of a future phase III trial. ProCare was developed in collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate cancer trials group (ANZUP).
