Primary care – Taking the lead in cancer care
The editorial in this months European Journal of Cancer Care by David Weller highlights the issues supplement on the role of primary care in cancer control. Primary care is able to offer comprehensive coordinated care for patients. GPs know their patients well and can help with cancer symptom recognition and pyschosocial care.
