New survivorship grant funding
The Department of Health and Human Services have announced a new Victorian Cancer Survivorship Program funding round.
The grants will provide up to $100,000 to eligible services, to fund a maximum of five projects over the course of 12 months. Successful projects will commence on 31st May 2018 and be completed by 30th May 2019. Applications for this round of funding will close at 2pm on 13th February 2018.
- The 2018, type 1 funding round will have a specific focus on underserved groups including:
- People with low survival cancers
- New treatments extending the period of survivorship
- Aboriginal Victorians
- Elderly / frail
- Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD)
- Low socio-economic status
- Rural and regional areas
