New service will ‘transform’ skin cancer diagnosis

Ground-breaking technology is now available in the United Kingdom for GP practices, to speed up diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. The Teledermatology Service allows GPs to take images of areas of concern on patients’ skin and send them straight to a hospital for analysis. Diagnosis can now occur within 48 hours instead of the previous 2 week wait. Telegraph and Argus,  7/6/18
