New review concludes evidence for alcohol causing cancer is strong

There has been a long-recognised association between alcohol and cancer. A new publication has taken that association one step further by suggesting a causal association between alcohol and cancer. The review indicates current epidemiological evidence supports the link between alcohol consumption and the development of seven different cancers including liver, colon and breast cancer. eCancer, 22/07/2016
