Using linked population-based health-related datasets to optimise cancer care and reduce survival disparities

Overview:
The aim of the PC4 supported arm of this project is to evaluate the impact of the roll-out of Optimal Care Pathways (OCPs) for lung, ovarian and colorectal cancer. The design is a pre-post study using cross-sectional survey data from patients and GPs, as well as semi-structure interviews with patients, completed prior to and after OCP implementation.
