Miracle Mineral Solution: Do Not Drink This, FDA Warns

In the USA, the Food and Drug Administration warned consumers not to drink sodium chlorite products such as Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) as these products turn into bleach. Some distributors falsely claim MMS is a remedy for cancer. In Australia, the Therapeutic Goods Administration issued a warning about MMS in 2014 advising health care professionals and consumers that the product has no therapeutic benefit and “may have toxic effects”.
