Increased survival means increasing roles for primary care after cancer diagnosis

This brief letter in the British Journal of General Practice emphasises the increasing role for primary care and GPs in cancer care after cancer diagnosis. The letter highlights the outcomes of a workshop from the Cancer in Primary Care International Network (Ca-PRI) annual scientific meeting held in Edinburgh in April this year. The workshop explored the roles of GPs following a cancer diagnosis in different countries including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada and Australia.
