Exploring patient and health system factors in timely diagnosis of cancer in CALD communities

Migrants diagnosed with cancer in Australia often have poorer outcomes than comparable non-migrant groups. This project will apply a mixed-methods approach to explore patient and health system factors that may influence time to diagnosis in patients with colorectal, lung or breast cancer from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, focusing initially on people of Vietnamese or Arabic background.
