Application for Support


Purpose

A key role for PC4 is to assist members to develop high quality cancer research in primary care. We can provide:

  • Assistance to develop an idea or a concept
  • Assistance to recruit potential collaborators – researchers, health professionals and/or consumers
  • Peer and/or consumer review of proposals
  • Access to specialist support from the Clinical Trials Development Unit, the Cancer Research Economic Support Team and the Quality of Life Office

Conditions

All projects that receive support from PC4 will be required to:

  • Provide evidence of ethics approval
  • Register on the appropriate trials registry
  • Submit six-monthly reports to the PC4 Office providing a half page summary of activities, number of sites active, numbers recruited and participant statistics
  • Acknowledge PC4 support in reports, publications and presentations and provide PC4 with those details

Application Process

Applications for Research Development Support can be made at any time. Use the form below to indicate the support you require and provide an outline of your proposal. You are not required to complete every section, please fill out the sections appropriate to your request. Your application will be reviewed by the Advisory Committee and you will be notified of the outcome by the PC4 Office. Please be advised the usual time frame for Applications for Support is approximately 2 weeks.
